A Question...

I have never seen a foal born with eyes the color of the new foal. It's like a smoky blue. I am wondering if he will lose this colors as he gets older? Desi has no history of blue eye in his background but Isena has one eye that is half and half (as shown). Is it possible the colt got his eyes from her or will they get darker as he gets older? Thanks...

PS- I have heard of this happening with champagne colored horses but this foal is not a champagne...
