Ember

This is Ember. Ember dropped out of the bottom of another officer's patrol car while David (my fiance) was on shift about a week ago. David brought her home at 6AM -he works the night shift- and woke me up to take care of her. She's anywhere from 2-4 weeks old. She had her whiskers burned off on one side and frazzled on the other and her eyes were so matted shut that I thought they may have been burned too. She was dehydrated and covered in fleas. What's a girl to do? Soooo. I have a new cat. As you can see, her eyes were fine after a thorough washing.

Funny, I was the one who stayed up with her, bottle fed her every hour, held her, and nursed her back to health but you can see who she thinks is her hero...
